I looked over Santa Monica Bay from Saddle Peak in Topanga today, what I saw was amazing. Dark, dark clouds close to the coast, but as I spied towards Catalina, the sun broke through and shone down on the island like a crown. It was a beautiful black/white or almost sepia toned print in my minds eye.
